YEVOKEとは、感情や記憶、心の奥に眠る“何か”をそっと呼び起こすという意味を持つEVOKEの造語です。それは、新しく生まれることもあれば、もともと内にあったものが静かに引き出されることもある。
編集者・吉田愛の視点を通して、それぞれの内側にある“何か”と再会するための、小さな幸せや喜びを集める、時にセンスや知恵を呼び覚ます場所です。
YEVOKE is a coined word for EVOKE, which means to gently evoke feelings, memories, and “something” that lies deep within. Sometimes it is born anew, and sometimes it is quietly drawn out from something that has always been there.
This is a journal that gathers small moments of happiness and joy to reunite with the “something” inside each of us through the perspective of the editor, Ai Yoshida.
吉田愛／よしだあい
1985年生まれ。群馬県出身。美容ジャーナリストのアシスタントを経てデンマーク・ボーンホルム島へ留学。ヨーロッパ放浪中、ベルリンの街に一目惚れし、デンマークからドイツ・ベルリンへ。インディペンデントファッションマガジン「Œ Magazine」でインターンとして働く。帰国後は女性誌編集者を経て、フリーランスの編集者、ライター、時々アート系PRを担当。旅と猫と餃子とホームパーティをこよなく愛します。
Ai Yoshida
Born in 1985. Born in Gunma Prefecture. After working as an assistant to a beauty journalist, studied abroad in Bornholm Island, Denmark. While wandering around Europe, fell in love with the city of Berlin at first sight and moved from Denmark to Berlin, Germany. Worked as an intern at Œ Magazine, an independent fashion magazine. After returning to Japan, I worked as an editor for a women’s magazine and then as a freelance editor, writer, and occasional art PR person. I loves traveling, cats,GYOZA, and home parties.
